It All Started with Prince

Ever looked at your fur baby and thought, "You deserve to strut down these streets like the royalty you are"? That's exactly what went through our minds every time we walked our Doberman, Prince. Let me tell you, this dog has more natural elegance in his paw than most of us have in our whole body!

Picture this: a gorgeously groomed Doberman Pinscher who carries himself like he just stepped off the cover of Vogue. That's our Prince – the inspiration behind Showdawg. Every time we took him for a walk, people would stop and stare (and trust me, he loved every second of it). While other pups are rolling in the grass, Prince struts around the perimeter like he's on a Milan runway. He'll pause occasionally to strike what we swear is a pose, head held high, ears perfectly perked. Even other dog parents joke that he must have been a supermodel in his past life!

But don't let his regal demeanor fool you – Prince has his adorably goofy moments too. Like that time he spotted his reflection in a store window and spent five minutes trying to out-pose himself. 

That's when it hit us – our pets deserve to feel as fabulous as they make us feel- and it inspired us to create a brand that celebrates both the elegance and personality of all loyal companions.
